Performing Arts

Performing Arts at St Peter’s unlocks our students’ imagination, creativity and physicality.  Through a varied programme of Dance and Drama units at Key Stage 3, all students have the opportunity to develop their communication skills and confidence; skills needed for life, not just education.  As well as this they will learn new skills and gain knowledge about performing arts techniques, styles and companies.

In Year 9 students can opt onto Key Stage 4 Performing Arts in which they gain a BTEC in Performing Arts.  Throughout the three years students will delve deeper into the various disciplines of Performing Arts and participate in a wide variety of dance, drama, vocal and technical workshops.
