Thursday 19th November - Y9 Visit to the Skills Show at the NEC in Birmingham

In order to aid students in their decision making and so they are well informed, we have booked a day at the Skills Show at the NEC Birmingham for all our year 9 students on Thursday 19th November 2015.

The Skills Show, the nation’s largest skills and careers event, is helping to shape the future of a new generation. Attracting over 75,000 visitors, the show provides hands-on experiences that inspire young people to explore further education, skills and Apprenticeships.

The Skills Show brings skills to life for students, giving them the chance to learn about education, training and careers in an engaging and inspiring way.  From trying out skills and watching talented young people to hearing from industry insiders and careers experts – what better way to motivate your students to think about their future?

The cost of the trip is £10.00 per student and covers the cost of the coaches only as entry to the event is free. Students will be expected to bring a packed lunch and drink and students who normally access free school meals, will be provided with food and a drink on the morning of the event.

I trust you will agree this is a fantastic opportunity, one that cannot be missed.

In the event you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact Mr Mahony by email at
