Fibonacci Day

Friday 23rd November was Fibonacci Day at St Peter's - a sequence of numbers where you add the previous two numbers to get the next one. e.g. 1, 1, added together makes 2. November 23rd - 1, 1, 2, 3.

3. Mr Nash is tiling his new bathroom. He can put up 20 tiles every hour. His wall needs 120 tiles. He starts work at 8.00 a.m. He takes two breaks of 30 minutes. At what time does he finish his tiling?

4. Miss Porter checks her step counter after taking Rocky for a walk: Mondays walk was 6765 steps, Tuesdays walk was 10946 steps. How many steps did she do in total?

5. A hotel charges £50 for a room for a single person per night and then £10 extra for each additional person per night. Mr Price books two rooms for his family for one night and is charged £130 in total for the two rooms. How many people are there in the family?
