Medical Mavericks

During a recent visit to Keele University with the Medical Mavericks department, our students took blood from a fake arm, recorded their own ECG, tried key hole surgery, looked inside their body with an ultrasound machine, took a picture of the inside of their eye and much more.

Every student got their own medical observation sheet to fill in during the workshop as well as a print out of their ECG.

They also checked out our Careers Wall that outlines dozens of different career paths as well as salaries and training routes!

What an amazing inspirational day.
