The Academy is an extended school providing a range of learning opportunities for the whole   community throughout the year, including evenings and weekends.

With the community

Our experienced professionals support our students, families and community. Our links are local, national and global as we continue our drive to:

• Build on collaborative arrangements with local schools and partner agencies.

• Work closely with primary schools to ensure a smooth transition to the Academy.

• Create facilities and activities for the benefit of the wider community.

• Develop innovative relationships with partner organisations including businesses and universities.

• Build on and develop international partnerships.

• Participate within the Diocese of Lichfield and Woodard families of schools to enhance good practice.

With parents

We are committed to forming a genuine partnership with families and carers, as we strongly believe this supports students in achieving their potential. We encourage all parents and carers to take an active interest in the Academy and their child’s education. To help, we communicate regularly with parents and carers to ensure that they are kept informed of their children’s progress. Furthermore, a parents’ forum, which meets termly, provides a voice for parents and carers to be consulted and involved in new and existing aspects of academy life.
