English Schools Combined Events Championships - 17th September 2011
A huge congratulations to Aaron Bedson and Ryan Sproston who both qualified for the English Schools Combined Events Championships which took place in Exeter on Saturday 17th September.
Ryan from Year 10 competed for the final time in the U15 age group successfully achieving some PB’s in the 5 event competition. His results were:
80m hurdles – 12.91 seconds
Shot put – 5.82 metres
Long Jump – 4.69 metres
High Jump – 1.38 metres
800m – 2.30 minutes
Aaron from Year 9 had his first taste of competing at the U15 age group with another year at this level to improve his scores. His results were:
80m hurdles – 16.95 seconds
Shot put – 8.42 metres
Long Jump – 4.40metres
High Jump – 1.35 metres
800m – 2.32 minutes
