Vivo Miles Rewards System

The Academy has its own rewards system to encourage and motivate our students. Details of the system are as follows:

Rewards: All staff have the option to award Vivo points and to issue a positive comment using the Vivo Miles web site or the school SIMs system. Pupils are rewarded for demonstrating good attitudes to learning, excellent behaviour, for producing a quality piece of work and for achieving both in and out of the Academy.

Early personal finance lessons: Vivo is designed in such a way that it looks and feels to students a lot like their first bank account. With the currency being the ‘Vivo’, and good, old-fashioned, hard work being the way to earn ‘Vivos’, it presents a unique opportunity to teach some important personal finance lessons.

Students can make transactions: On line by visiting the www.vivomiles.com shop which has a range of products. Students can have the product delivered to the school or they can receive a voucher, so they can take it to a high street store and exchange it for goods.

Encourages giving to charity: Vivo Miles allows students to donate the Vivos they earn in the Academy to charities of their choice, empowering them and educating them at the same time. It is an incredibly rewarding feeling for students to work hard for their Vivos, so that they can help others in need.

League tables and competitions: Schools can use the Vivo Miles system to encourage healthy competition between students. With more traditional certificates and even trophies up for grabs for the best performers, it is a fun and more up to date way to engage and stimulate all students to go the extra mile.
