SRE Consultation

Posted on: 12th Feb 2021

As part of your child’s educational experience at St Peter’s CofE Academy, we aim to promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive taught programme of Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic (PSHCE) education that gives children and young people the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthy, safe, productive and fulfilled lives, both now and in the future.

From September 2020 the Department for Education made Relationships, Sex and Health Education (SRE) compulsory in all secondary schools. Along with other schools, we are gradually introducing some of the changes throughout this school year. As part of this change we are giving all parents and carers an opportunity to offer their opinions and comments.
